So the move is less then 2 days away and we're pretty much done with everything that has to do with packing and loading everything that belongs in the trailer.
Friday was my last day of work. I will miss many people and plan of keeping you all updated on all my pastry and baking creations!!
Saturday night we had the going away party with Vince's friends. It was nice, but I fell asleep on the couch around 1130. Last night my moms friends wanted to take Vince and I out for a going away dinner, so we all met up at Olive Garden at 4. There was about 15 of us and we were told we would have an hour wait.... Psshhh! A tad over 2 hours and we finally got sat. The manager was really really nice about it all. He had came to us after we had been waiting for about and hour and 15 minutes and said he appoligized that we were told we would only have an hour wait and that usually groups over 8 can have about double the wait time. So for the mistake he told us we could choose 5 appitizers and they would be ready and waiting for us when our table was ready and would be on the house. It's always nice when companies go above and beyond to keep their companies happy.
My dad has been working a lot of overtime lately so everytime we have gotten together he has been unable to join. Tomorrow I will be stopping by my parents house after he is off work, to say bye to my dad before I move. This will probably be one of the hardest parts of the move. He always has a way of putting words together that are felt in the heart. Even just the past few times I spoke to him over the phone I teared up after I hung up. After I see him I am going to swing by my grandmas house (dads mom) and say bye to her as well.
Then on Wednesday it's off off and away to Portland!!!
As for the past 2 days... well we have been doing ton and tons of packing. We finally finished loading the trailer this afternoon and we used every single inch of space of the trailer we rented.
Tomorrow is the visit with my dad and gma and then tomorrow night we will pack the truck with the remaining items we have left.

Pictures of today
These were our table side ducks, I named them Puddles (the white one) and Toodles (the brown and green one).
This little guy bee-friended us... Hardy harhar!!! I know, I know, I'm hilarious! You can catch me here ever Sunday evening. Anyways, he stopped by for some drinks and then took off.
Most of you who know me can probably guess where I was going with this one... so enjoy :)
And here are my 2 favorite girls! Hailey is on top, she looks a it frightened but I swear she was having a good time, YeeHaw Bugs! Below is Hannah, she put that wild mustang in check the moment she hopped on, giddy up Nanny! I wish I would have kept Hannah's photo booth pictures, she look so freakin cute!Baby B
When you hug me...
Today I had my little going away thing with my family. I was small but very nice, just my mom, grandma, sister and her family (my dad couldn't make it due to work but I'll see him next weekend). We met up at Tom's Farm around 10:30 this morning and walked around to check out the vendor booths. Around noon we ordered lunch from the burger places and then just enjoyed the rest of the afternoon with one another. I was very hot and hummid, but I didn't mind so much since it would be my last time to see my family for a bit.
Vince and I spent a lot of time with my nieces, Hailey who is 6 and Hannah who is 5. We took them on the merry-go-round, got their pictures taken in a photo booth, watched a magic show and just enjoyed every moment. Vince is so good with them, I love seeing him give them shoulder rides and helping them up on the merry-go-round horses, it's just so cute. My sister gave me a nice little card that made me tear up... she always has a way with words.
We eventually all gathered around our table area and enjoyed each others compamy some more. Laughing, making jokes, telling stories, just like any other gathering. Getting close to 3:00 and knowing the girls and Caden were getting tired we would all be taking off soon, but I didn't want it to be over.
Around 3:30 everyone had desided it was a good time to go, so now it's time to say bye... I was holding together, gave my little nephew Caden kisses, then leaned over to give Hannah a kiss and hug goodbye, she hugged me tight and looked up at me and said, "Aunt B I want you to pick me up when you hug me." So I picked her up and held her so tight, she hugged back just as tight.. And that was about the moment I broke and began to cry. I tolded her I loved her and can't wait for her to come visit, she gave me the biggest kiss and said she loved me. I set her down and did the same with Hailey, those girls are pure love. Once done with Hailey's kisses and hugs, I said bye to my brother-in-law Rick and then moved on to my sister. I cried with her, she told me this was going to bring great things for me and I know it will but it was just an emotional moment for me.
I'm so thrilled to be creating this new chapter in my life but I know these next few weeks are going to be very emotional for me. So bear with me everyone, lol. Although I wouldn't change these new upcoming adventures for anything, I have a feeling you will see me back in a couple years, I'm a family gal what can I say. Love ya'll!!

shopping!
Today Vince's mom Toni took us shopping for things we might need for our new apartment. We got quite a bit of stuff, which will be nice to start off with new things rather then having to pack all the stuff from my old apartment. We got a microwave, bath towels, kitchen towels, pot holders, all sorts of medicines (tylenol, tums, neosporin, etc.), pillows, silverware, serveware, and all sorts of other small stuff we might need around the house. So when we got home I packed it all away and labeled the boxes so we won't have to do that when all the other stuff is being packed.
I think this Saturday I will go to my parents house and begin packing all my clothes and whatnot I have over there and bring it back here to Vince's house so that will all be ready to go. Then the following weekend on the 29th Vince and I can go pick up the couches and coffee/end tables and load those in the trailer, along with the bed, dresser, and night stand. then later afternoon on the 30th the movers can pick the trailer back up and on the 31st Vince and I can load his truck with the computer, tv's, and boxes of clothes and household items so its ready to go on the 1st.
Our plan for moving day on the 1st is, Vince will wake up and go to work his normal 430-730. Then when he gets home pack any last minute items in his truck, say goodbye to his family, load up Charlie and hit the road. We plan to have left his house by 9am. Then so it seems normal to Charlie, and less stressful, make one last stop at the dog park ( since any time he is in the truck its usually for the dog park) let him romp around for 15-20 minutes then load him back up and take off for Portland. the drive is 14 hrs. and I figure we will need to stop about every 2-3 hrs to let us and Charlie stretch, and so Char can get a drink of water and isn't so couped up. I figure our travel time will take about 17-18 hrs. with all the stops, so hopefully we can get to our new home around 3am on the 2nd. whew! thats gonna be a long trip! Vince and I will be trade off on driving and I will start out so he can sleep first, since he will have been up for work that AM. If we absolutely had to we could get a room and make it a 2 day trip, but we both just want to get there & get it done with. Im sure not all will go as planned... but hopefully it will go somewhat close to that :)

19 days!!
19 days till we hit the road!!! How exciting, although I am not looking forward to actually moving all our crap... does someone want to do it for us? :)
Last weekend I got my new glasses. Yesterday I did all my dental work that needed to be taken care of... whew, 2 things checked off. Now I still just need to go to my parents place and pack all of that crap. HA, that will probably just get pushed to the last minute. I think packing is 1 of my most hated things to have to do, ugh. Oh well I just need to buck up and get it over with.
more later :)

So it wasn't even this blog, lol. It was a completely different website where my ranting was posted, and it never even mentioned specific names. Oh that makes the story even funnier then it was to begin with.

So I found out my schedule for school today. When I was enrolled for the July classes I was put into the moring classes and so I just had it in my head thats what I was in for the August classes, so I emailed my admissions advisor last week requesting to be put in the AM classes if I wasn't already. He called me back that day and said the girl who is in charge of that was on vacation and he would call me on Monday. So I got his call this moring letting me know I would be in the afternoon classes... ugh, I so didn't want to be in class till 9pm. I told him that with Vince's and my schedule it would be way better if I was in moring classes and that I was pretty sure I had a job lined up but I would be working 3-8pm for some accounting firm ( not really but it was the first thing that came to mind), so he said he would see what he could do. Anyways, he called back and said I owe him some of my best choice cheese cake because he was able to get the girl to squeeze me in the AM and bump someone in the PM. So I think I'll make him some of my accidental vanilla almond cheese cake with almond slivers on top and chocolate drizzled around the sides :)
Monday thru Fridays I will be going to school from 7am-12pm!!! yay!

SiCKO
Last night Vince and I watched SiCKO, he had downloaded it the night before but we didn't get the chance to watch it. Although I know a lot of these types of movies can be filmed to be one sided, it's still an eye opener of a movie. If you havn't seen it yet, I would suggest you do. Or next time you see me you can ask for a copy since I am already having Vince burn me a few copies to give to a few other friends and my parents.
It's scary, to think in 3 weeks I will be leaving my job where I recieve health benefit to go back to school. I will be left uninsurred for at least the next 15 months... I don't know which is scarrier, being uninsurred for the next year and a half or being insurred but knowing I could possibly be denied payment by my insurance company because of some excuse they dug up from my past.
I am considering trying to get a job at UPS while I am in school. NO it has nothing at all to do with my major but it's a job with minimal hours, so I am still able to focus on school, that still provides the p/t employees benefits which are good and are a PPO.
After I graduate school I had mentioned earlier about going to one of the International Le Cordon Bleu to recieve the grand diploma... well all the of the locations are in area where there is universal health care. Ottowa Canada, Paris France, and London England.

James
I really have been missing my brother and his family lately. He lives out in Missouri and I havn't seen him in over a year. My sister doesn't live too far and I don't see her very often but I know the option is there (or at least till I move), and I still see her more then I get to see my brother. Growing up my mom always said how much I am just like my brother and now I know what she means. I really do have so many characteristics of my brother in me, I see a lot of my sister in me too though... I guess thats because I was the baby of the the family and looked up to both my siblings. After move to Oregon all 3 of my parents children will be living in 3 differnt states from each other. I wish flights wern't so dang expensive, I would love to go visit him, his wife Kate and 2 kids Kevyn and Julian before I move.
I think I might try and talk all my family to come visit Vince and I this winter, of course they would have to get rooms somewhere since 12 people in a 1 bedroom place would be cramped! lol.

less then a month!!!
Yes, it's true.. we have less then a month till we hit the road for Portland Oregon!
The past few days have been way to hot for me, all I want to do is curl up in a freezer. By the end of the week it supposed to be 104! 104!?! ugh! Last week the hottest it got in Portland was 79*
I still need to go over to my parents house and pack all my crap I still have left over there. I also need to bring my couches from their house to Vince's house... but I'll wait till the weekend before we move to do that. On the 22nd my family is getting together for a going away shin dig for Vince and I.
We still can't deside what we want to do with our friends for a going away party. I would love to have a big party but I know there are some people who just wont be able to control themselves... meh who knows.
